The first nugget of inanity we polluted the airwaves with was a 5-song demo tape recorded in Wilmington, MA with our friend Mark Useless in February 2009. We made 300 white cassettes with photocopied lyric inserts. These are very much SOLD OUT.
In November 2009 we self-released a 5-song 7″ EP called Consolation Prizes. This was recorded, mixed and mastered with our friend Jay at his studio Project Sound in Haverhill, MA on July 25th and 26th 2009. Cover art by Dan Bythewood. Out of 500 and SOLD OUT, sorry. I’m sure there are plenty of distros sitting on copies if you give a fuck. No immediate plans for a repress but who knows….
In March 2010 we self-released a 12-song full-length LP called Routines. The music on each side of this record was recorded live in one continuous take, with vocals overdubbed after. Once again Jay The Milky worked the ancient two-inch tape machine and didn’t kick us out even when we started wearing American flag do-rags. 524 copies on black/blue swirl vinyl. The CD version of this album was issued on Traffic Street Records.
October 2010 saw the release of a split 7″ with Madison, WI pop-punk band The Transgressions. Our tracks were recorded with Jay, and our friend Samia sang some great back-ups. The record was split-released by Traffic Street Records and Off The Records. First press is out of 500 copies. You can visit the Traffic Street site for the color breakdown, if you’re into that sort of thing!
In May 2011 our second full-length LP, Goocher was released as a five-way split between us, It’s Alive Records, 86′d Records & Fanzine, Dirt Cult Records, and Muy Autentico Records. 1,000 copies on black 180-gram vinyl, with a 16-page newsprint lyric insert.
We also did a new song called “Sulk” for a split 7″ single with Dead Uncles from New Haven, CT, which came out on 86′d Records & Fanzine in June 2011. There are 500 of these on black vinyl. We also have two unreleased songs from the Goocher sessions for a forthcoming split 7″ with Steelhorse from Seattle, WA.
